Dave Carney's Hillside Auto Repair has been locally owned and operated family business since 1984.

At Hillside Auto Repair our customers are treated as if they are friends or family, because in a small community, chances are, they are...or are friends and family of one of our current customers.  Our mission is to provide exceptional value and quality auto repair in a clean and friendly environment.  We employ state-of-the-art equipment and methods, have highly trained technicians, use top quality parts to fix the car right the first time, resulting in our customers being delighted they found us and excited to refer their family, friends and neighbors.

Farewell & Best Wishes!

We recently bid a fond farewell to Service Writer Marty Rousseau. Marty was with us for just two months when he received a job offer from Boeing in El Segundo. His “dream job” finally came through. We are happy for Marty wish him every success!

A Warm Welcome!

Hillside Auto Repair is pleased to welcome Service Writer, Andre Borje, to its team of top service professionals. Andre was born and raised in California and resides in Torrance. His desire to work closer to home led him to Hillside Auto Repair.

Andre has worked for BMW, Nissan, Toyota and Infiniti dealerships. He was with Infiniti for eight years, and after just one year as an ASE-certified technician, he was promoted to Service Writer. He is pleased to have been part of the Infiniti team for the memorable and historical launch of the Infiniti automotive line in 1990.

Andre’s 16 years of experience in the automotive service industry will enable him to continue the shop’s tradition of taking exceptional care of its customers and their cars. “Dave, Zoie and all of the employees at Hillside Auto Repair are very pleasant and very professional,” said Andre.  “I was looking for a new home and I think I’ve found it!”

“I have every confidence that Andre will excel here,” added Dave Carney.
